Daniel Wu’s Being Too Handsome Is Also An Obstacle

 

 

Even if Daniel Wu has made an effort to prove to everyone that he is more than just a pretty face, at the press conference of the new film “Wiretap” his prettyboy looks was still the focus of the media/paparazzi’s attention. Unlike the heavenly kings of the entertainment business, who guard themselves so much to be photographed outside, by not having a night life , Daniel Wu is never worried about these silly rumors, making the reporters think that he’s making a mockery of these idols. He said he is never worried about it and his relationship with girlfriend Lisa S. has never changed, their relationship became even stronger, and they have plans to get married in the future and have children.

With regards to the skepticism of the media present on his credibility to play as a secret agent, saying he is too handsome for this role, Daniel is never worried and enumerated that such profession needs different people of different ages, and it depends on how one carries out the mission. He further said that he never really cared about how he would look on the films, but doing good on his acting is what gratifies him.

All these years, Jackie Chan has always confidence on his career and potentials and thinks that he has emerged away from that idol image, despite of the rumors surrounding him. Derek Yee spoke of his many works with Daniel, that in this generation of actors, Daniel Wu is a ‘world class’, and managed to do good not only on the entertainment business, but also on his lovelife, with his stable relationship with girlfriend Lisa S., and it is reallly difficult to find such person. “Daniel Wu and Lisa S.’s relationship is now 6 years, during which he has been rumored with different actresses, such as this year, Daniel Wu and Kelly Lin were first photographed together for a meal at night,then after some time with Shu Qi for a dinner at the central. Asked about this matter, Daniel Wu said with a smile: “Shu Qi can not be a third party, we know each other for too long, it’s just normal for us to chat over dinner.” Talking about his relationship with Lisa S., Daniel Wu said: “We Trust each other very much and we will certainly get married, and we have a very deep understanding that we never hide.” He further said he intends to marry her before he turns 40 years old.
